Santa Luzia Island

Santa Luzia is Cape Verde's only uninhabited island, comprising 35km2 of virgin landscapes. The small territory is made up of cliffs to the north, long deserted beaches and white sand dunes to the south. The island, along with the Raso and Branco islets, remains a nature reserve that is exploited by few.

Due to its rich marine biodiversity and ecological importance, access to the island remains restricted, reserved mainly for scientific or educational purposes, and to fishermen from São Vicente.

If you have the opportunity to visit Santa Luzia, don't miss it. Here, surrounded only by untouched nature, you can lie on a beach and watch the incredible sunset while waiting for the blinding stars that cover an immense sky where pollution has no place.
