inhabited island in Cape Verde, located in the far south of the archipelago. Brava is pure poetry, there's no other way to describe it.<\/p><p>The end of the foggy dawn is heralded by the harmonious song of the birds. Light begins to reveal the valleys hidden by the darkness of night.  The dawn is broken by the first rays of the sun rising behind the fertile hills. In the distance you can hear the roosters weaving their way through the quiet mornings. The damp air with traces of dew smells of fresh coffee surrounded by the scent of flowers. The fruit plants are sprinkled with shades of yellow, red and orange. There are bananas, pitangas and papayas for breakfast. Open the window and feel, Brava is awake!<\/p><p>Brava is painted with colorful flowers and valleys in shades of dense green. The sun doesn't shine much, so the air is fresh. Even though it's small, there's a lot to see here. Brava wants to be seen and so it has a multitude of viewpoints scattered around the island. Must-sees are the Fontainhas viewpoint, which is the highest point on the island, the Mira Beleza viewpoint, the Mira Grandeza viewpoint, the Nova Sintra viewpoint and the Mato Grande viewpoint.<\/p><p>The Brava Council is the only one on the island and its seat is the town of Nova Sintra. Nova Sintra is a charming little town to say the least. It is characterized by its narrow streets full of history and traditional Portuguese architecture. A must-see in this town is the Eug\u00e9nio Tavares Museum, a poet and exponent of Cape Verdean literature. You can also enjoy a visit to Centrum Sete S\u00f3is Sete Luas, a space for art exhibitions, cultural events and live music festivals. You can also enjoy the work of the island's lace makers.<\/p><p>Brava is for nature lovers. For those who like to walk, the pleasant and not too hot temperatures allow you to explore the island along its green and mysterious trails.<\/p><p>For those who can't live without the sea, you can watch the port and fishing activities at Porto da Furna and visit Faj\u00e3 de \u00c1gua. This town is located in a bay against a cliff, displaying a unique beauty. The ocean floods the huge natural pools formed by the cliff where the water is blue, the temperature is perfect and the landscapes are romantic. Here you can also sit in a bar-restaurant by the sea waiting for the magnificent sunset while enjoying a rich portion of fried moray eel.<\/p><p><strong>Whatever you choose, you can't go wrong. Brava only leaves nostalgia in the hearts of those who pass through.
