Transport in Cape Verde

Transportation between the islands is provided by boats/ferries from the Cape Verde Inter-islands and the company's flights BestFly Cape Verde. The islands of Santo Antão and Brava are only accessible by sea (boats/ferries).

Flights between the islands last between 20 minutes and an hour. The baggage allowance for flights between islands is BestFly Cape Verde varies from 23 to 30 kilos, depending on the fare (normal or flexible).

Within the islands, public transportation varies. The islands of São Vicente and Santiago have bus services in the metropolitan areas. In the interior of these islands and all the others, transportation within the islands is maintained by cabs and hiaces, which are minivans with usually 15 to 20 seats.
