Cape Verde

Tucked away in the Atlantic Ocean and guarded by the West African coast is Cape Verde, an archipelago of ten islands occupying a small land area of approximately 4,033 km.2.

With a resident population of just 491,233, the "Ten Grains of Land" have a rich geographical, historical and cultural heritage.

Each island has a unique and distinctive character, and they combine perfectly to create this mosaic of Morabeza that we Cape Verdeans hold so dear.

Although the archipelago has only recently become more popular as a tourist destination, the truth is that, as our diva Cesária Évora used to say, "Cape Verde has never gone out of fashion". And those who pass through here always take a little bit of sodade, and a inkmenda d'terra (traditional orders).

What are you waiting for to discover this pearl of the Atlantic?

Eclectic landscapes, stunning beaches, abundant sunshine, multifaceted traditions, happy and welcoming people and a warm atmosphere await you. Come and see and feel Cape Verde!
